We were very happy because the astrolabe program was attended by Mr. Cebrail Çukurkaya from Bursa, who makes astrolabes himself. After the workshop he used one of his astrolabes in order to show how the height of a tree can be determined by angular measurements by the astrolabe. One can check the result by measuring the height of the tree by measuring tape
